Marshall and Terry Lawrence
Marshall Lawrence is the Executive Director of Silent Blessings, and co-Founder along with his wife, Terry.
An ordained minister, Marshall is a nationally known speaker and singer/songwriter. But when the family discovered their youngest daughter, Rachel, was deaf, Marshall began to use his gifts in a new direction – to bring spiritual healing to Deaf and hard-of-hearing people and their families. He is also producer of Dr. Wonder’s Workshop, an innovative television program for Deaf and hearing children alike.
He and his wife, Terry, live in Indianapolis, IN. Terry who enjoys freelance writing and editing, was a former communications professor at a small Christian college in northern Indiana. While she was there she was instrumental in convincing the administration to establish the first four-year ASL interpreter training program in the area. Having completed her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction at Andrews University, she now teaches at Anderson University in Anderson IN.
